The current sample buffer can generate samples from uncompressed.WAV or.MP3 soundfiles. In addition to that the Super-Jay also supports the different PCM formats.AIFF,.AU, and.CODEC audio files. And last but not least the Super-Jay has an LFO oscillator. On top of that the Super-Jay has a complete filterbank with some useful filters and a very versatile ADSR. You can also re-route the oscillator outputs with its ADSR envelope. The Super-Jay also has a realtime modulation matrix allowing to control the modulation source from the keyboard. You can also use the matrix for modulation and also sample some outputs from the source to be modulated. But that's not all. The Super-Jay is loaded with MIDI, CV and PWM outputs for controlling external devices. You can use the Super-Jay as a realtime PWM generator, a realtime oscillator, as an on/off LFO, an envelope generator, and a modulation source. There's also some internal LED's which can be controlled with the MIDI outputs. In terms of sound quality, there's not much I can say at the moment. There's already a lot of pre-production samples of the Super-Jay that already sounds excellent. But that won't mean much since I'm not very experienced with samples at the moment.
